This is not a great achievement....

 To honourable Govt of India, 

          Finally you did it..!!! Indeed you did a good job by executing Mr. Ajmal Kasab unexpectedly. We were expecting this to happen three and a half years ago. And when that did not happen, I thought it might be present in your five year plan!!! But you did it well within that. A bit of formal respect and appreciation for you from my side on this occasion. The happiest thing is that the people who fought against them have got a small tribute at least now. 

           It took close to four long years for this to happen. Well, we can understand that it requires long time to achieve anything. But this is not a great achievement. Not at all. If you feel proud of yourself for hanging a foreign criminal(weightless word for such a person though) which none of the other governments have done till now, then I think it is height of foolishness. If you would have blasted LeT camps four years ago similar to the way in which US handled Afghan, then that could have been a real achievement. I know it is a tough task but it was not impossible. All credit goes to those who fought against them and caught the one who was your royal guest for four long years. 

             But the question is, why it is carried out now only? By asking this, I do not mean that you should have delayed it. Is it because of upcoming Gujarat election where there is very little support for you? I hope that is not the case, If you think so then the people of India are not that foolish as you. Or is it because of the fear that mosquitoes might have done the work that was not possible from you since four years if you would have kept him feeding for few more days? If that is not the case, why are you still nourishing Afzal Guru? 

           We can understand that our law does not provide provisions for execution of this kind of cases (any kind for that matter..!!) in a faster manner. But why can't you bring changes in law to handle such cases? You people bring new bills and make amendments according to your own convenience even though there is a strong nationwide oppose on such changes. Why can't such amendments which could create a little bit of fear in criminals happen? Oh, you will not be benefited from that right? Such a money minded and corrupt government... 

            By the way, how much money that you have poured on him? According to you it is around 25 crore!!! But it can't be that much less. We all know that you people always under estimate your spending and illegal earnings. Considering your figures of 25 crore and keeping your statement in mind that 32 rupees per day is enough for a layman to live, 20000 people would have lived with all basic needs for a year. 

           One good thing is that you denied the appeal of UN human rights commission on death penalty. Papa, those people don't know our humanity and generosity. 

           Anyways what has happened is appreciable. Now it's time to handle Afzal Guru. Don't spend still more on him. Put an end to that case also before next election and try to gain some virtual popularity!

When Equality Lacks Its Sense………..

We all know that equality (‘=’) plays an important role in our life. This is universal fact that, 1+1=2 where the equality (= sign) can no way lack its meaning. In mathematical terms it can never loose its sense unless otherwise we ourselves commit some mistake. Mistakes will happen every now and then. Here I would like to present a small instance where one can go wrong in doing simple mathematical operations and make ‘=’ to give up its sense.

Let a=b then,

a² = a b

ð a² -b² = ab –b²

ð (a+b)(a-b) =b(a-b)

ð a+b =b

ð 2b = b

ð 2 = 1 ……! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! This is unacceptable even by layperson.

(Identifying the mistake embedded in the above operations is left to the reader.)

But here my intention is not to talk about the equality sign that we use in day-today mathematics. I want to talk about the equality mentioned in our constitution (worlds biggest) and its present day conditions including political, educational, religious, employment sectors and many more.

When our constitution upholds that ‘All Indian citizens are equal’ then my question is ‘Where comes the question of category and reservation? Of course I also agree with morality of original constitution because in earlier days some people of society (I won’t refer as caste) were heavily suppressed by some others, so it gave equal rights to all and created some special opportunities to those people to come up. But now the things are changed, there is no such suppression of any community, then why he number of categories increasing today? I think it is the governing body which divided the people into various categories and kept them under different English alphabets with prefixes and suffixes keeping in mind that the count should end up with all available alphabets as names and face scarcity of name for the new one. If this type of categorization continues then the names should borrow the Latin, Greek letters also.

Majority and minority issue is not apart from this. But I will restrict my pen because there comes the issue of religions and I may go furious with it.

One thing is sure that by keeping the people under various categories and giving some X % reservation in each and every sector will not bring them up. It is mere illusion of the govt. Every person is born with equal intelligence given by nature and nature will not bias any particular community in this issue. Everyone should come up with his/her own ability and intelligence not by getting some reserved job.

This reservation is the one which suppresses their skill and hard work since they already know that they will get a guaranteed job if they pass out with a mere degree certificate. The reservation may improve them financially but how would you say that the people grouped under general category are not poor?

They should be given with right education and I won’t agree with intentions of some schools in private sector to impose certain rules particularly poor students .That is purely a bias and such minds should be rightly punished. Again I oppose the system of reservation of seats for higher education where the intelligence and skill should be honored not the categories. It does not mean that they should not get higher education .But they should get it from their brilliancy which will lead the country in progressive path.

On reading these entire facts one question for you is, ‘ is the term Equality among the citizens of India as told by our own constitution making any sense today??????????
